Dear jelly_man,

well this is a good question, that we already explored quite extensively on our side. The bottom line is that we can do everything, but the licenses from external partners are very very expensive...

On the question of storing them in the tracks tags themselves, there is an option to update the tracks (update id3v2 tags) in Tracks Properties. Of course if the field is not supported in the id3V2 tag, we cannot store it in, otherwise it would make these files incompatible with other applications/devices.

1. Normalization info

+++ well, if you go in Track Properties (right click on track), in the advanced setting you can see the normalization level. I don't think it is in id3V2.

2. silence removal info

+++ first we would need to implement this feature in Virtuosa. But why don't you edit the track with www.cooledit.com to get rid of the silence once and for all?

3. picture integration

+++ this is already supported. Now we do not interface with a site to get them as it is very expensive and do not see enough requests for that.

4. lyrics support

+++ we do not suppport it now, same as 3.

5. Rename according to tag info and visa versa. (tag according to file name)

+++ that is already supported when you rip/import/export/convert

Thank you for your comments. Do you work in this field?

Best,

Thank you for your quick reply.

Could I clearify some answers though?

1. Normalization info

A:"+++ well, if you go in Track Properties (right click on track), in the advanced setting you can see the normalization level. I don't think it is in id3V2."

~~~Is there a way i can save these settings so if for some reason my computer crashes i don't have to normalize again?
2. silence removal info
"+++ first we would need to implement this feature in Virtuosa. But why don't you edit the track with www.cooledit.com to get rid of the silence once and for all? "
~~~~Thank you

3. picture integration

+++ this is already supported. Now we do not interface with a site to get them as it is very expensive and do not see enough requests for that.

~~~~Q? If i add in a picture mannualy and ypdate the tag, will it put the picture in the tag?.... this has not seemed to work for me.
4. lyrics support
+++ we do not suppport it now, same as 3.
~~~~Thankyou

5. Rename according to tag info and visa versa. (tag according to file name)

+++ that is already supported when you rip/import/export/convert

~~~~I didn't ralize that, thankyou.
Thank you for your comments. Do you work in this field?
+++ this is not supported in the idV2 tags, so we cannot save it there. But is is saved in the Virtuosa database, so the best is to make a backup of the database regularly.
3. picture integration
~~~~Q? If i add in a picture mannualy and ypdate the tag, will it put the picture in the tag?.... this has not seemed to work for me.

+++ I am checking on this, but it should work if the update tags into file option is switched on
