External USB DVD DRIVE PROBLEM; PLEASE HELP
I've been using Virtuosa Gold 5.0 for about two week. I have it loaded on my laptop which is running Windows XP. I tried using my Iomega external USB DVD drive to burn mp3's to DVD but Virtuosa doesn't show the drive in the CD-Recordable box for selection. XP recoginize the drive everywere else just not in Virtuosa. Any recommendation would be welcome. I played around with Nero Express and can burn MP3's using this software but I would like to be able to burn straight from Virtuosa. Other than that, I love my Viruosa and I've recommended it to several other people.

thank you for your interest in Virtuosa.
The USB external drives is a known problem and we are working on it. Could you be so kind to:
* press CTRL+ALT+i and check the box "Write
errors to log file". Redo the action that generated
the error. This will write all the steps that Virtuosa
does to a Log file. Save the file on your Desktop.
* go in the File menu in Virtuosa and click on
Help/Technical Support. Virtuosa will take a
snapshot of your configuration and open an
email with an information file as an attachment;
* attach the Log file to that email;
* write a clear description of the problem in the
body of the message;
* send the email, the Send To address is already
This will give us precise data to solve the problem.
